Property video marketing guide for estate agents
How estate agents can use property video alongside portal listings, social and brochures, without building an in-house edit desk.

Give video a job on the listing
A video with no job becomes a file in a folder. Decide what it is for: the portal embed, the Instagram Reel, the email to the vendor, or all three as different shapes of one project. If you cannot name the slot, you will not publish it.
The photography, the description and the brochure already have slots. Video should too. Otherwise it is the first thing dropped when the week gets busy, which is every week.
A minimum standard you can keep
Agree a minimum: exterior, main rooms, price, location, logo, and a floor plan when it exists. Landscape for the listing. Vertical when the branch posts social. That is a standard a negotiator can hit. “Make it cinematic” is not.
Templates exist to hold that standard still when the person changes. PropertyCuts is one way to do it. The principle matters more than the software: repeating structure, shared brand, formats chosen up front.
Show the vendor something concrete
Vendors understand a video of their home faster than they understand a promise of “digital marketing”. A draft cut, even a simple one, is a better instruction conversation than a mood board. You can make that draft from the photos they have already approved.
Be honest about what it is. A listing video. Not a television advert. The ones who want a bespoke film can still commission one. Everyone else gets something live.
Judge it by publishing, not by polish
Count how many new instructions left with a video in the first week, and how many formats you actually posted. A beautiful unpublished file is a cost. A plain published one is marketing.
If the bottleneck is editing skill, remove the skill from the standard job. Keep skilled editing for the work that is genuinely bespoke. That split is the whole of this guide.
Where to go next
If you are deciding shapes, read the sizes guide. If the team argues about Reels, read the Reel workflow. If you are a photographer selling this into agencies, the package note is the one to send.
When you are ready to make one, the app is at propertycuts.rehub.studio. A new ReHub account includes 10 credits and does not ask for a card.
Make one from the photos you have.
Upload the media, choose a template, and render the cuts you need.

Questions
Do we need video on every listing?
You need a standard you can keep. Every instruction that has photography is a reasonable bar. Waiting for the perfect house means you never start.
Who should own it in the branch?
Marketing owns the template and the brand. The person with the media owns the upload and the render.
